Save like crazy is not just an idle expression! The crazy sale you've been waiting for is here!. ..at Burnhams! Bring your cash and neighbors and go crazy with delight! A BREED ALL THEIR OWN (WHO WILL TRY ALTf THE TRICKS YOU TRIED AS A KID). ti. Here we have a motley group of shirts with long sleeves. A LARGE group and mostly motley. Yes, by gum!... you have ; your choice of ratty westerns, crummy casuals or dreadful dress shirts. Of course they are by famous makers like Donny Donmoor, Carl Campus, Vance ! Van Heusen and Wally Wrangler but the styles, sizes (8-20) and fabrics are broken (poor things). Yesterday you . could buy these for 8.00 to 14.00. Today you can have 'em for 3.00 and 4.00. Slacks... what the boys wear as a last resort when their jeans are too dirty to be seen in. Here's a group of polyester and gabardine and polyester slacks in broken styles, now at absolutely last resort prices... only 2.00 to 3.50! Please come and take them away! We don't want to see them anymore! (Tried to sell these size 8 thru student slacks at 10.50 to 15.00 but no luck). The greatest put-on of alla.THE UN JEAN! Yes...unjeans for boys 8-14 and students, in corduroy, brushed denims, apd uncut corduroy (how they make something like jeans without cutting is certainly a puzzle to me! How about you?) These pants that look like jeans have little tags sewn in or on them and some say "Levi's", some "Lee', some "Farah" (however, hardly the Farah Fawcet Majors type) and some "Wrangler". The pants are free but the labels are 2.00 and 4.00. (The catch... the labels have to be attached to the pant.) These bottoms were selling for 9.00 to 15.00. CHILDREN I WELCOME ONLY ON LEASHES AND ACCOM PANIED BY PARENTS. Crazy George savings on girls p lay w oaf, toungowoar, cwimwoar, hardware, sleepwear (whew!). The prices have (CONT.) (CONT.) been mercilessly slashed from 5.00 17.00 down to 2.00-5.00. Now this is very special sleepwear.. .it's made especially to wear in the winter time and there's a choice of sleeping gowns, or pajamas with little pouches attached to the legs that keep your feet warm. If by chance you are rock-a-bying your baby in a tree top, and the wind blows which causes the cradle to rock, which in turn causes the bough to break and baby plus cradle go plummeting to the earth, here's hoping your little one is wearing one of these warm nylon and pile snowsuits and jackets! The prices are just as ridiculous as you look sitting in a tree!. ..An unbelievable 2.50 to 6.00...generously cut down from 9.00 to 24.00. Orchards use smudge pots, chicks require brooders, construction sites use salamanders, and girls wear jackets or coats to chase away frosty winter chills. Now's your chance to get a real deal on these girls 2-14 jackets and dress coats that, fortunately for you but unfor tunately for us didn't sell. They're just as warm as the rest, just maybe not quite as pretty. But!. ..the price is a beautiful 5.00 to 11.00 a long way down from the ugly 15.00 to 40.00 that they were. Somebody handled these slacks really rough and now we're stuck with broken sizes, broken styles, and broken fabrics! What's a person to do! Well, for between a buck fifty and five dollars, you can have a pair of these regularly three to fifteen dollar slacks. If name dropping impresses you try these for size...Garan, White Stag, Aileen and Lit tle Topsy. Cinderella, Cinderella, all I hear is Cin derella and Nanette and Lore and Kate Greenaway and Lil' Airess (all brand names of pretty dresses we thought we'd sell before Christmas but didn't. They come in sizes from 14 clear down ' to size 2. Hurry and grab them now unless you want to see tnem again next Christmas! We can assure you the prices will not get any lower! Were 6.00 to 24.00 now 2.00 to 6.00. Meanwhile, back at the grade school, the news of this great sale has leaked out, and there's a rumor running ram pant that the moms are getting organized to storm into Burnhams and (CONT.) (CONT.) strip the department to the bare walls. But Moms, take it a little easy, will ya' huh? Just a little cash will get you a lot of loot to send your "darlings" to school in. For example... Yeah! We'll swap 'ya any of these dresses and teen separates for bona fide legal tender. What'cha want to shell out determines what cha get (vice versa too). Shouldn't matter too much though 'cuz the prices are so low (1.00 to 5.00, were 6.00 to 24.00) and picken's is good! A treat for your princess and a life saver to your budget, these bath robes are only 4.00 and 5.00. They were a whopping 10.00 to 14.00... Her Majesty and Kid Duds in broken sizes. The controversy still rages.. .which gets cleaner? The robe or the bather? Girls skirts (not to be confused with boys kilts) are at a ridiculously low 1.50 to 5.00 (reg. 4.50 to 19.00). These are in broken styles of two lengths; short for the gals 4-14 with beautiful legs, and long. Contrary to popular belief long and short sleeve knit tops, do not mean tops with one long and one short sleeve. If however, that is what you desire, may I suggest getting out one of these 4-14 long sleeve knit tops and cutting one of the sleeves at mid bicept, finishing it off with a neat little hem. We've collected Aileen, Little Topsey, and White Stag long and short sleeve tops to sell for a measley (absolutely contagious among prices) 2.00 to 5.00! That's quite a savings from the original 5.50 to 17.00. this here sale is the best of the year... so get yourself down here right row you hear? the savings are great the prices absurd... We've really flipped out so pass on the word... tjjx fj j yy JLl UIj a r 3 STORE ET 17-8381
