Roll call was answered by naming the tree of member's birth state. Mrs Hoy Ball opened the meeting by reading "Two Kinds of Beauty " The club sent a donation to the Eastern Oregon Hospital for Christ mas, and Mrs. Leo Root presented a program on general clean-up for the fall garden Harel Miller received the prize in a game, and Mrs Root received the door prize. The next meeting will be the annual Christmas party with exchange of gifts at the home of Mrs Ball Dec 17 at 1p m The wedding of Came June Norm and David Richard Craven will be solemnized Dec. 19 at 5 p m at the Lion's Oub hall in Irrigon Friends are inv ited to attend Mr. and Mrs Arthur have returned from a week's trip to Hawaii. They joined Mr. and Mrs I M Docken. who had been over there for several weeks Mrs. Walter Wyss spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Portland visiting her son-in-law and daughter. Dee and Concert at Riverside The Riverside High School ilusic Department presented its fall concert recently in the school auditorium with John Weddle. music director, in charge. The choir presented: '"Both Side Now." The Water is Wide." "I Know a Place." "One Tin Soldier" by the ensemble group, and "Morn ing Has Broken." Piano ac companists were Denise Henkie and Peggy Brandt, and on the guitar were Jack Donovan and Bill Barnes. The high school band played "Semper Fidelis." "The London Symphony" first movement; "Sounds of the Three Dog Night," "Out in the Country." "Family of Man" and "An Old Fashioned Love Song." The High School Stage band played "Mercy, Mercy, Mer cy." "Brian's Song" and "Sunday Morning." Dawn, of Othello, W'n.. visited overnight Friday at the home of their mother, LaVem Part low. Mr. and Mrs Harold Baker and son. Randy, and daugh ters, Karen and Krtstie, were dinner guests Thanksgiving Day in La Grande at the home of Mrs Baker' brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs Vern Carpenter. Mrs Hazel Miller accompanied her son, Jim Miller, and his guest, Marga ret Carpenter, and daughter, Andrea, of Kent. Irrigon The Irrigon Lion's Gub will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a banquet and dinner at . the Lion's club house here. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey War ner visited his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Walter Warner, in Portland and their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Ponteleis Vrontakis. and sons in Salem. On Thanksgiving Day the Vrontakis and the Warners went to Lincoln City. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wil son. Leon and Lerry visited their son, John Wilson, and family in Boise over the Thanksgiving holiday.
