Helen Nel son; musician, Betty Mar quardt, and three executive board members, Norman Nel son, Gene Majeske and Ed ward Hunt. Wilbur Steagall won the evening's door prize. An honored guest. State Gate keeper Berl Akers, was intro duced. There were five guests present from Willows Grange. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kane of San Francisco, Donald Van Winkle of Los Angeles. Glenda Kay Van Winkle of Salem and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Van Winkle and Teressa of Pendle ton were Thanksgiving callers at the William J. Van Winkle home. Mr. and Mrs. William Hinger and Victor Klinger of Portland visited their grand mother, Mrs. Alean Caivin, at Pioneer Memorial Hospual Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Jones and Florence McMillan were Hermiston visitors Wednes day, where they visited Mrs. Stuart Smith and Mrs. Lola Breeding, both patients at Goo Shepherd Hospital. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Robinson on Thanks giving were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Poorman of McNary, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson of Lexington. r I Mrs. Venice McRoberts spent several days last week in Portland with her son, Alvin Standley, and family. Gene Majeske was a busi ness caller in Salem a couple of days this week. .Donald Majeske returned Sunday to his home in Deer Park after spending the holi days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Majeske. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Palmer and family spent Thanks giving with her father, Vester Hams, and family i; Hermi ston. ; Mrs. Greg Leyva and chil dren of Wilbur, Wn., spent several days this past week with her sister, Mrs. Jerry Dougherty and family, of Heppner and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Steagall. Mr. Leyva joined them on Thanks giving Day, flying on to California on business. Mr. and Mrs Wilbur Stea gall were Spray dinner guests on Thanksgiving at the home of his mother, Mrs. Cora Burnside. Paul Morey has returned home after a stay in St. Anthony's Hospital in Pendle ton. ! Recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Erda Pieper were her daughter, Lavelle Nelson, and Fred Beck of Coos Bay. Mr. and Mrs. William J. Doherty spent Thanksgiving with their son, William James Doherty and family, of Board- , man t Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Gulick spent Thanksgiving at the home of her sister, in Pasco, Wn. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Holli day. Portland, are parents of a son born Nov. 21. Matthew Paul joins two brothers at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Swenson. all of Portland. Great -grandmotlier is Mrs. Erda Pieper. Lexing ton. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Levist formerlv of Las Vegas, have moved their trailer house to Lexington. They have pur chased the Akmzo Henderson Garage on Main St and will operate a body and fender shop. Goincs on Mr. and Mrs. Jim Johnson arc parents of a girl, Cherie Anne. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Leon Johnson of Selah, Wn.. and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Green of Kinzua. Great grandparents are Mrs. Edith Zaworskl of San Diego and Mrs. Mattie Green of Nacbes, Wn. Mr. Johnson U the former Treasa Green. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Rogers and Pam spent Thanksgiving with relatives in Hood River. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Van Arsdale went to Joseph to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Reese and Rick. On the way home they stopped and did some shop ping in Pendleton. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oyler and Don of Bend was here for Thanksgiving holiday and visited Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Barzee, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stinkard and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rice and family. Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Norris and Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Murdock went to Columbia Shopping Center in Richland for a day of shop ping. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Herb Luper and family were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Booker and Mr. and Mrs. Art Sparks of Portland. Mr. and Mrs. Jiggs Bowman and family went to Portland Wednesday where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bowman and Erika. On Thursday everybody went to Castle Rock. Wn., where they spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Lytton Strom. On the way home Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bowman stopped and visited Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Clapper in Grass Valley. Spending the weekend visi ting Mr. and Mrs. Elvyn Bell were Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Bell of Portland. Going to Klamath Falls over the Thanksgiving weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Bill McMinn and family. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe McMinn.
