Glavey, 88. died July 17. at the Pioneer Memorial Hospital. She was born In Clifdon. County Galway, Ireland, and was member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Jack, and a daughter, Mar gurite, bih of Heppner; and a brother, Anthony Mannion of Portland. Rosary Mass was 1 7:30 a.m. Thursday and funeral mass was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20. with Rev. Raymond Beard officiating. Interment was in the Kings ley Cemetery, Dufur, Ore. Sacred selections were by William Kenny and organist was Rose Marie Buschke. Casket bearers were James Allen. Willie Smith, John Murtha, James Farley, George Chambers and James Murtha. Altar attendants were Jim and Bill Kenny. Mrs. Glavey was born March 20, 1885 and came to the United States In 1901. A resident of Oregon since 1905, she was a member of a pioneer Wasco family. For 46 years she resided In Morrow County on the family ranch on Rhea Creek. Interment was in the family plot of the Kingsley Catholic Cemetery in Dufur. Rev. Francis McCormack presided at the concluding service. Two days are left in the Childrens' Evangelists inter denominational meetings being held at the Church of the Nazarene, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Worship comes alive for the children through the use of puppets, ventriloquism, chalk art, music, illustrated stories, object lessons and gospel magic.
