Ag Income Up 9 Over 1968 In Morrow County Harold K. Kerr, County Ex tension agent has completed the 1968 Ag Income picture for Morrow County. The total In come is up 9 over last year and is estimated to be $11,100,- 000. This is compared to a very poor crop year in 19(8. Yields of wheat and barley were up, but were offset by lower prices and more importantly by high er costs. Cattle prices were up but were offset mostly by lower calving percentages and lighter weaning weights. Wheat is the largest Income producing com modity at 3.3 million dollars followed closely by beef at 2.8 million. The Increased income to the farmer was more than offset by rising costs.
