December 27 The IOOF Hall has been the place chosen for the dance. starting at 8:00 and lasting un til 2:00. An admission of $1.50 per person and $2.50 per couple will be charged. This is a semi- formal dance. The "Henchmen." Roger Leon- nlg's local band, will be on hand December 31 for a New Year's Eve dance at the Fair Pavilion. This was the first game of the year for the Dirt League, a groun of local boys that are not out for organized basketball. The boys collected an esti mated 150 trees for their an nual sale. The trees are still on sale In the vacant lot across from Jack Van Winkle's Service Station. In cutting the trees, the boys were aided by lour picKups owned by the members of FFA and also a truck owned by Doug Drake. Proceeds finance the annual FFA banquet and other activl- ties of the year. New Strobe Received Mrs. Vi Lanham has received strobe she ordered for her camera. This attaenmeni aiso fits the new camera purchased bv the school. Thanks to her cooperation this strobe will be used with the school camera to take Indoor pictures of games and other school activities.
