Guest of Bill Sherman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Sherman, this week is Bobby Chrlstensen of Stayton who made the trip to Boardman by bus and was met there Wednesday by members Struckmeler families Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Struck- meier and children and Mr. Mur ray and sons camped at Ukiah and the boys enjoyed fishing there, as well as taking in the rodeo. Mrs. Everett Struckmeler and daughter Janet motored to Salem Wednesday to visit Mrs. Struck meter's mother, Mrs. Maurice Petit, who is confined to the hos pital after suffering a stroke Mime time ago. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gonty were in The Dalles Sunday to pick up their two grandchildren, Rus sell and Ramona Gonty, child ren of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gonty of Renton, Wn. The young sters will be with their grand parents for at least two weeks. On the following day, Ed went right back to The Dalles, this time on business, returning that evening. A quartet of "rockhounds. Mr. and Mrs. George Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Blovins. went to the Row Wow of rockhound clubs Pt Princville over the week-end. The P.levins left Saturday and returned Sunday, but the Millers remained for a longer period. The Pow Wow was from July 1 through 5. Some 3000 were ex pected, and interesting exhibits were on display. "Tailgate showings of rocks were partic ularly interesting. Mr. and Mrs. A. L.
