Our ladles day competition Tuesday was windy, wet and wearisome; but thirteen Rulll ble gal golfers braved the ele ments and played the nine holes. Winners In the men'a IS hoi competition were Allan NUtad v Klnzua and Lowell Cribble lleppner who tied for low groaa score of 80, James Rector of Kin zua had low net score W 33 CI Ed Wham of Klnzua had the lowest score on the hidden hole, Phil Blakney of Heppner made the longest drive on No 5 and Ed Wham was cloaeat to the pin on No 3 (with a holt in one, no leas). Winners in the womens' 18 hole competition were Zella Prln die of Klnzua with low net score of 12 1 63 61. I luckily shot low gross score of 87, Arlene Schoeder of Klnzua had the longest drive on No 5, I was closest to the pin on No 3 and Lavlna Connor of Klnzua, Dee Cribble, Hazel Mahoney and myself of Hep pner all tied for the lowest num ber of strokes on the hidden hole. Mrs Floyd Adams of Oswego, former Heppner resident, is here visiting friends.
