The royal court, introduced by Miss Leta Humphreys, was queen Sharon Cutsforth of lone and 'her mother, Mrs Don Hel iker; princesses and their moth ers, Joan Moe and Mrs Elmer Moe representing Rhea " Creek Grange; Judy Cochell and Mrs Dick Wilkinson, Lex i n g t o n grange; Janice Martin and Mrs Randall Martin, Lena and Susan Partlow and Mrs John Partlow, Boardman. Mrs Heliker is also chaperon for the group. Elaine Laird sang "Home On The Range" and "Red River Val ley," accompanied by Jeanne Schmidt at the piano. Slides of baby pictures of the queen and princesses were shown and also pictures of how they look today. Queen Sharon told of the ac tivities the court has enjoyed this sumer and group singing was led by Mrs Conley Lanham. The luncheon tables were dec orated with cofrals, horses, cow-, boys, Indians and summer flow ers by Mrs Roice Fulleton and Mrs E E Gonty. Other guests were Mrs Jim Bruce, Mrs Wallace Wolff, Tricia Farley, Susie McQuarrie, Gale Batty, Miss Esther Kirmis, Becky Fulleton and Mrs Rod Murray. x The August 27 meeting of the club will be a sack lunch and all members will work on the float, for the rodeo parade. A question and answer period was held for prospective Oregon State College students and to get students interested in college in general. A few Pendleton outfits and coats from Wilson's Men's Wear were modeled by Janice Beamer and Shirley Kononen, showing styles to wear to classes, church and casual wear. There was a discussion on tu ition fees, living accomodations, classes, activities, how to regis ter and many other items of in terest to the prospective students. Those attending were Susie McQuarrie, Judy Cochell, Clif ford Green, Carol Anne Ander son, Joan Spencer, Stevan Flug, Jean Collins, Bernice Thomson and TElaine Laird. Refreshments were served by Oregon State alumni and par ents, Mrs P W Mahoney, chair man, Mrs Jack Loyd, Mrs James Thomson, Mrs Claude Graham, Mrs C E McQuarrie, Mrs Joe Hughes and Mrs Harold Laird. Mrs Meador Given Baby Shower By Renegers Club The Renegers bridge club was entertained at the home of Mrs James Farley Wednesday even ing of last week, and also sur prised Mrs Richard Meador with a baby shower. Those attending were Mrs Frank Anderson, Mrs Creston Robinson, Mrs Bill Labhart, Mrs Paul Webb, Mrs Allen Case, Mrs James Norene, Mrs LaVerne Van Marter, Mrs Gene Hall, Mrs Bill Barratt, Mrs Richard Meador, Mrs Eddie Gunderson and Mrs Alex Thompson. High score for the evening was held by Mrs Labhart, second high was Mrs Thompson and Mrs Anderson was low. Fruited Lime Ring Combine 2 envelopes plain gelatin, 2 teaspoons grated lime rind and cup fresh lime juice and let stand until gelatin is softened. Dissolve in 2 cups hot water Stir in 4 teaspoon salt and Vi cup sugar. Drain a No. 2Mi can fruit cocktail, saving syrup; stir 1 cup syrup into gelatin. Cool until slightly thickened. Fold in well drained fruit cocktail, and 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, cut into tiny cubes. Chill until firm in eVi-inch ring mold. Unmold onto crisp salad greens, and fill center of ring with fresh fruits. Makes about 8 servings. Pinochle Club Meets At Happold Home Mrs Henry Happold was hos tess to the pinochle club Fri day afternoon at her home. Guests were Mrs Max Buschke, Mrs Fred Mankin, Mrs Clarence Johnson, Mrs 0 E Wright, Mrs Robert Lowe, Mrs Earl Evans, and Mrs Walter Becket. High was won by Mrs Evans and low by Mrs Johnson. The double pinochle prize went to Mrs Evans and Mrs Becket. Refreshments were served.
