The next regular meeting will be held December 19 and It is to be the birthday party for those whose birthdays fall in October, November and December. It was announced that next Triple Link meeting will be Mon day, December 15 at the IOOF hall. Hostesses were Mrs Frank Ayers, Mrs Deb Wright and Mrs Winn Crist. Low Scorers at Club Honored At Luncheon Those members of Whats Trumps bridge club holding high scores for the past season, en tertained those with low scores with a luncheon last Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs Raymond Ferguson. Hostesses were, Mrs Ferguson, Mrs Allen Case, Mrs Earl Blake, Mrs Lowell Grlblbe and Mrs Gene Ferguson. Guests were, Mrs Harold Cohn, Mrs Ted Smith, Mrs Elaine S Georgtf, Mrs E K Schaffitz, Mrs Claude Graham, Mrs James Thomson, Mrs L D Tibbies, Mrs Robert Penland and Mrs P W Mahoney. This was also the annual Christmas party for the club and a gift exchange was held. In bridge, Mrs Cohn held high score; Mrs George, second; Mrs Blake, third and Mrs Graham, low. Hustons To Celebrate 50th Anniversary A reception will be held Sun day, December 14 at the Christ lan church in Heppner from 2 to 5 p m, honoring Mr and Mrs Clive Huston on the occasslon of their 50th wedding anniversary. All friends and neighbors are cordially invited. The Rev Stephen Breltenstelr officiated at the double ring cere mony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin, silver brocade gown with long pointed sleeves, intermission length and her illusion veil was held In place by a brocade cap with white feathers. She carried a cas cade bouquet of white and laven der baby orchids. Maid of honor, Jille Vaerge was dressed ln a red brocade taffeta sheath with net overskirt and i carried a nosegay of pink car nations. Marilyn Fhlllips and Marilyn Roman!, bridesmaids, wore blue brocade sheaths with net overskirt and they carried red carnation nosegays. All the at tendants had chemise bow head pieces to match their dresses. Best man was Steve Green of Pendleton and ushers were Lee Palmer of lone, brother-in-law of the groom, and Gary Baseel, brother of the bride. The bride's mother wore a sap phire blue dress with beige ac cessories and an orchid corsage. The groom's mother wore a blue lace dress, white accessories and she also had an orchid corsage. The wedding music was play ed by Carol Harwood and Ave Maria was sung by Mrs Ted Stln- ton and Mrs Charles Smith. At the reception, which follow ed, at the Knights of Columbus hall, Mrs .Don Rockey, aunt of the bride, served the cake assis ted by Mrs Lee Palmer of lone, sister of the groom. Mrs Rose Blanchard and Mrs Robert Wo- mack, aunts of the bride, poured. Roberta Price, Lynn Baseel, and Rose Nash, sister of the groom, had charge of the gift table and Shirley Nash, sister of the groom, was In charge of the guest book. Several Parties Held At Lexington Homes Lexington has been the scene of much entertaining recently. Last Wednesday evening, Mr and Mrs Don Hatfield entertain ed with a pinochle party at their home. Mr and Mrs Eldon Padberg, Mr and Mrs Bill Van Winkle, Or, Mr and Mrs Bill Parsons, Mr and Mrs Bob Kilkenny, Mr and Mrs Roy Martin, Mr and Mrs E E Peck and the host and hostess. Roy Martin received men's high score for the even ing and Mrs Munkers was high for the women. Bill Parsons and Mrs Van Winkle received the traveling prizes. On Saturday evening, Mr and Mrs Randolph Lott entertained with a potluck dinner at their home. Those attending were, Mr and Mrs Ken Peck, Mr and Mrs Jack Barak and Mr and Mrs Don Hatfield. Friday evening, Mrs O W Cuts forth entertained with a dan cing party for her son Gene and guests.
