The Holly Rebekah lodge and 3 Links club are having a food sale bazaar at the post office next Saturday morning. The proceeds will be used for the United Na tions Pilgrimage. Joan Brosman and Jack Sum ner were at the local high school on Wednesday where they gave a most instructive and interesting talk and showed films on the United Nations Pilgrimage. Miss Betty Obrist has been ill at her home the last week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Breeding who have been visiting at the Geo. Irvin and Bert Darnielle homes have returned to the home of the son in Grants Pass for a few days visit. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bissinger were visitors Sunday at the Eld on Padberg home. Mrs. Dean Hunt entertained with a small party honoring her son's birthday one day last week. June Ledbctter and Gregory Dav idson were the guests for the afternoon. Let's not forget the Women's Fellowship group meets next Tuesday at the Christian church. Let's try and attend this meet ing at the wonderful time of the year when Fellowship means so much. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Crofts of Washougal Wash, was a weekend visitor with their daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. C. Friedrich. Mrs. Crofts remained for an ex tended visit. Bob Matthews, coach of the lo cal high school returned home Saturday after several weeks in Pioneer Memorial hospital re cuperating from a car accident. The dance sponsored by the Oddfellow and Rebekah lodges was well attended Saturday night. The proceeds from these dances will be used to repair the front hall in the building to be used as a community hall. The next dance is scheduled for the first Saturday in January with Quack enbush's orchestra. On Monday evening the Holly Rebekah lodge made a trip to Stanfield where they presented the traveling Bible to the lodge there.
