Sperry and John Bryson, well known lone citizens, were in Heppner for a few hours Wednesday after noon. W. W. Howard, of Butter creek, was a Heppner visitor on Wednes day. He was accompanied by Mrs. Howard. T. L. Donnan, of, Rhea creek, was '.n the city yesterday! J. H. Frad, Black Horse farmer, was a Heppner business visitor on Wednesday. Mrs. Ida Warnock is having a con crete walk constructed alnng the front of her May street property. E. L. Buckman has charge of the work. Levi Hiatt and wife were in Hepp ner Monday. Mr. Hiatt is consider ing strongly moving to town next fall in order that his children may re ceive the benefit of our excellent school. Miss Beulah Gemmell was visiting with relatives and friends In this city Wednesday. Dr. F. B. Klstner, of Portland, spent a few days in Heppner this week looking after business matters. He owns considerable property in the vicinity of Cecil. Mr. Holmes, special agent for the Continental Life Insurance Co., ac companied by Oltn Hayes, left yester day morning for Baker county. They are making the -trip in Mr. Holmes' Ford. Emerson Keithley and family d parted for their new home at Lorn don, Oregon last Monday. Mr. Keithley will be engaged in the hard ware business at that place and this paper wishes him abundant success in his new venture. Kill The Flies.
