ner Monday. Mr. Hiatt is consider
ing strongly moving to town next fall
in order that his children may re
ceive the benefit of our excellent
school.
Miss Beulah Gemmell was visiting
with relatives and friends In this
city Wednesday.
Dr. F. B. Klstner, of Portland,
spent a few days in Heppner this
week looking after business matters.
He owns considerable property in the
vicinity of Cecil.
Mr. Holmes, special agent for the
Continental Life Insurance Co., ac
companied by Oltn Hayes, left yester
day morning for Baker county.
They are making the -trip in Mr.
Holmes' Ford.
Emerson Keithley and family d
parted for their new home at Lorn
don, Oregon last Monday. Mr.
Keithley will be engaged in the hard
ware business at that place and this
paper wishes him abundant success
in his new venture.
