Bridge was the game played at nine tables, after which a dainty repast was served, sev eral additional guests calling for tea. Last Wednesday evening about 25 members of the class of young mar ried folks of the M. F.. Sunday school, which Is taught by Mrt. W. T. Houts. and Is known as "The Gleaners," went in autos to the country home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Kees, menther of the class, and spent the evening. Supper was held, picnic style, on the lawn and afterwards music and conversa- 'on occupied the evening till they tc- luctantly returned to town about ten o'clock. Mr. Kees lives about three miles from town near Pirtle Station. on the Oregon Electric. A social gathering the third Wednesday in each month is one of the features which keep up the interest in the class, which is one of the largest in the school. Among other good works which the class is accomplishing, they have for several years been support ing a girl in India. "1 think some of them have made a lig mistake. "Well, I'm mid.
