A horrible accident, by which ten or twelve miners lost their lives, occurred this evening at the Lytic colliery, located on Primrose Mount ain, several miles northwest of here. The works tap the great Wolf Creek collier-, which has been idle for some years, owing to large accumulations of water. The old water lies in it, and it was the sudden bursting through of one or two of these de posits that caught the unfortunate miners while at work. Three American miners, named Polbin.
