Keep the little table be side the bed covered with a white cloth, and sec that it is always spotless. Be as cheerful as possible and try to leave worries on the other side of the doer. Even when one is very tired and anxious, a resalute effort of the will enables one to do much to overcome the tendency to show it. A calm nurse calms her. patient, and nothing helps on recovery like a mind at rest. Remember while there Is life there is hope,- and never give way to despair while life remains. Many a person who has been give up to die has recovered to years of usefulress. COLO STORAI.K. The business of freezing meats and fish and preserving perishable products by various systems of freezing and cold stor age has come to be an important feature of commerce. New York City now haseigiit laige establishments devoted to it, with an aggregate capacity of 15,000 ton?, besides many private "plants" belonging to sepa rate produce houses. Some of them use the old process of ire and salt, while others use the ammonia process. Dy the former a temperature of 5 degrees can be reached, and with ammonia it is said the mercury can be sent down to 2odegrees below zero. The system saves great loss and enables dealers 'o make special profits on meats and fi uits out of reason. Fruits and nuts are ke?t in a more moderate temperature just ubove freezing.
