THURSDAY, JULY 13, 1W3W Sport Gags By K. D. P. l have realized at last that 1 made just one mistake when I attempted to start a softall league for the kid ot this town. 1 would have made good results if I would have started the movement earlier in the Spring while the kids were iu school. With the help of Bob Webb and Ronald Gandee a fine little league could be stated that would last all summer. But when I tried to start one here, it was almost summer and most of the kids were gone and the weather getting pretty hot and so the re sult is that too few players tried out for the league. There are at least six players that are still play ing for the fun of the game. So I am going to let the kids have all the fun they want. But when they get tired of playing, I am going to take the balls and bats, given by the Civic Club, and put them away in a good place. Then next Spring I think that I will have good success when starting a league because of the fact that all kids will be 1» school then. —0— To members of Faber's softball team: Because of the several hap penings In the past, there will al- CLASSIFIED Business Directory A ITO REPAIR SHOPS JACK LEES' GARAGE BARBER SHOPS For a smooth shave and quick SERVICE Go to the SQUARE DEAL BARBER SHOP W.
