Also the first Installment on the bonds issued last spring to pay for the new water mains, amounting to $1500 with interest, has been paid this month. Thus the total bonded indebted ness of the city has been reduced this year to the tune of $11,000 aud a total interest payment of $618.76 paid. The city thus makes a saving of $618.76 annually from now on in the amount if interest duo. The city officials are feeling mighty relieved to have this much of their burden removed.
