Mr. and Mrs. Gus Smtih and Mrs. John Hays came up from The Dalles Friday evening, the former staying over night with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Smith and Mrs. Hays with her daughter, Mrs. Verna Block. Saturday all the Smiths left for Redmond - to spend the day at the Peterson Rock Gardens. They left Sunday for their home in The Dallas. Mrs L. W. Brockway and son, Bradley of The Dalles, came Sunday evening to spend a week here with her grandmother, Mrs. T. M. Rolfe. Mr. and Mr.s. A. A Dunlap and their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Haynes And family of Richland, Washington were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A rt Wat kins at Wasco. Miss Dorothy Wilson came home with them to spend a week with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Barnett and son, Keith, went *to Warm Springs Sunday to spend the day. There will be divine worship at the Grass Valley Methodist church Sunday, July 30, at 3. p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Clodfelter and daughter, JoAnn and son, Wendell motored to Hood River Sunday to spend the day with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Marsh. JoAnn remained for a few days visit. W illis Braittain came over Sunday from Tygh Valley to visit the Frank E. Bayers and to take his daughter, Kay, honle. Mr. and Mrs. A. A.
