The first survey was haaled as thi first real inform ation on the cost of producing w heat since the federal governm ent sen t men over this county in 1920. It ahowod the cost of each* farm operation, the overhead cost of taxes, interest, etc., which to g eth er w ith the value of the product gave a basis for estim atin g the efficiency of the operation and the value of the land used. Kent Auxiliary Meets At Grass Valley The Kent Auxiliary o f the Amer ican Legion, m et with Mr«. Ted Everett in Grass Valley Wednes day afternoon. A program on Brazil was featured. Mia. Willard Barnett gave an instrumental solo and Helene Lemley conducted a quiz program on Brazil. The hos tess presented the winning aide with a box of Brazil nut chocolate«. Dorothy Dunlap and Sylvia Gilkison drew the navy plaAas. Plans were made to serve a ban quet for county teachers on March 18. and to have the final card par ty in the series on March 29.
