A woman reported someone entered her car after 2 a.m. and stole $250 from a wallet and pouch. • Theft of bicycle parts, 2:57 p.m. Oct. 14, 300 block Russell Drive. A woman reported a rear tire and mechanism for her bicycle were taken from her porch. Items valued at $128. • Shoplifting, 8:18 p.m. Oct. 14, Fred Meyer. Kayla M. Long, 30, of Astoria was cited for sec- ond-degree theft and criminal mischief after she allegedly at- tempted to leave the store with- out paying for $212 in clothes, energy drinks and steak. • Theft of property, 7:13 p.m. Sept. 14, Hammond Quikmart. Edward Allen Johnston, 31, of Hammond was cited Oct. 16 for theft of lost or mislaid property reported a month earlier. Daniel B. Yates, 32, no known address, was cited for second-degree theft, criminal trespassing and criminal mis- chief after he allegedly attempt- ed to leave the store without paying for $224 in clothes and sporting goods. • Shoplifting, 6:54 p.m. Oct. 20, Walmart.
