January 5, 2018 Pro-life group organizes trip to Portland rally A local group is sponsoring a trip to Pioneer Courthouse Square for the annual gath- ering marking the 45th anni- versary of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court’s decision that legalized abortion. Speakers include Students for Life Regional Director Nichole Bentz, Archbishop Alexander Sample and orato- ry winner Karli Olson. Those interested in partic- ipating are urged to gather at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, in the rear parking lot at Co- lumbia Memorial Hospital. Cost is $15 to cover gas, wa- ter and a sack lunch.
