versary of Roe vs. Wade, the
Supreme Court’s decision
that legalized abortion.

Alexander Sample and orato-
ry winner Karli Olson.
Those interested in partic-
ipating are urged to gather
at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14,
in the rear parking lot at Co-
lumbia Memorial Hospital.
Cost is $15 to cover gas, wa-
ter and a sack lunch. A van
has been donated by Sundial

The City of Warrenton received a petition from Clatsop County on October
12, 2017 to vacate several streets in the plat of Warrenton Park. The streets
requested include all of SE 14th Place, SE 15th Street, SE 15th Place, SE
16th Street, SE King Street from SE 19th Street to SE 14th Street, SE Lake
Avenue from SE 19th Street to SE 14th Street and two remainder streets in
the plat of Portsmouth Addition to Warrenton.
A public hearing on this request will be conducted by the Warrenton City
Commission at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in the Commission
Chambers at Warrenton City Hall, 225 S. Main Avenue, Warrenton. Any in-
terested person may appear or present written or oral statements, in favor
of, or in opposition to, said vacations. Any written remonstrance filed with
