If the bonds are approved, they will be payable from taxes on property or property ownership that are not subject to the limits of sections 11 and 11b, Article XI of the Oregon Constitution. SUMMARY: Dayville School District No. 16J was awarded a State grant in the amount of $700,000 which is available only if the bonds are approved. If the bonds are not approved, the grant funds will be given to another district. If approved, this measure would finance capital costs within the Dis- trict, including: - Repairs and upgrades to the high school including security and ADA improvements, roof, plumbing and waste water drainage ren- ovations - Repairs and upgrades to the elementary school including safety improvements, electrical, wiring and lighting renovations - Improvements to the stage area - Pay issuance costs Bonds would mature in 16 years or less from the date of issuance.
