April 15. ^ ' Sealed bids will be received until the first day o f the May term o f Commissioners Court, for making the necessary fills at the following places: First, the bridge west o f the fish pond on the Newberg and Portland road; Second, the first bridge west o f Lon Hadleys on the Newberg and West Chehalem road; Third, the Wirfs bridge on the McMinn ville road; Fourth, the first bridge south of George Christen sen's on the Dayton and Salem road; Fifth, the first tw o bridges, on the St Paul and Dayton road; Sixth, the Van Dorn bridges on the road from John H obb’s place to the George Dorsey place. This is to be about 2-3 o f a fill, a bridge across the creek to be about Vk o f the length, this built by the county; Seventh, the bridge on the road from Will’s place to the Ruel Old’s place, this fill will be about a 2-3 fill, a short bridge to be built by the county across the creek. The bids are asked for are to be by cubic yard, and the hills to be left properly graded each side o f the road to be lower than the center so as to carry off the water trom the road.
