Farms
Now is the time to buy a wheat farm, wheat $1.00 per buahel a nd the best prospect for a
big crop for years. We have farms from 160 to JO;000 acres. We can take some valley

I am informed that some
person is treating fruit trees in
! the Newberg district by apj»ly
ing a solution *of some kind to
the roots o f trees, claiming it
will destroy San Jose scale and
apple canker.
Of course this is a fraud and I
am surprised that the progressive
growers o f Newberg could l>e
caught by such misresenfations.
If any fruit grower will show ine
a bit ot writing bj- which this
man has obtaiilfcd money upon
such a representation I will
take the matter in hand offic
ially.
