Cashier Mrs. Anna High, whose death occurred a t Salem on January 31, was born near Willamina, June 6,1870, being tbe youngest daughter of Chas. E. and Aman da Fendall, early pioneers of this county. She was married to Martin M. High, on November 8, 1891. T w o ' children were born to them, Aliena M. and Rexford E., both o f whom sur vive her. She leaves beside her children, her mother, one sister and six brothers, and a large circle o f relatives and friends, both in this county and in Salem, where the lost ten years o f her life was spent, to mourn her un timely end. - *■ - Character is the fruitage o f daily choice.
