Mrs. Anna High, whose death
occurred a t Salem on January
31, was born near Willamina,
June 6,1870, being tbe youngest
daughter of Chas. E. and Aman­
da Fendall, early pioneers of this
county.
She was married to
Martin M. High, on November
8, 1891. T w o ' children were
born to them, Aliena M. and
Rexford E., both o f whom sur­
vive her. She leaves beside her
children, her mother, one sister
and six brothers, and a large
circle o f relatives and friends,
both in this county and in Salem,
where the lost ten years o f her
life was spent, to mourn her un­
timely end.
