Good Books As a Christian worker, having at heart your welfare and wishing to be of real service, I in common with ministers, educators, editors and many of the thoughtful people of the day view with much appre hension the startling results of ig norance upon a subject that con cerns overy human being. So im portant has the subject been deem ed that many o i .the leading religious and educational papers of the day have devoted long and impreesive editorials, giving ex periences from heartbroken parents in startling language the sad con sequences caused by their failure to properly instruct their children upon subjects of vital interest to every individual. You will be glad to know that there is a set of books pure and clean without the slightest intima tion of impurity and suited to the different periods of life. The boy or girl will listen with intense in terest to tho pure, clean truth from the lips of father or mother that may save them from a life of sin and misery. The young woman and the young man will learn from the separate books written for each of the real principles that produce the purity, strength and contentment of ideal womanhood and manhood. For the young husband wife there is a separate book that gives facts that will help them to make the new home a place of bright happiness. For those of mature years there is a book that furnishes the knowledge that will contribute real helpings to the later years of life. Those books are endorsed by many of the best and brightest men and women of this and other countries. Being engaged in this reform work, I will call upon you in your homes or places of business within the next few days, and may I bespeak for myself the courtesy of a respectful hearing? I come to you not only as a solicitor of books but as a representative of a great cause, and I earnestly believe that the purity work being done by this series of books should and will receive your enthusiastic and cor dial support. Respectfully, M rs . C l a r a M o o r e . Oldest W om an in Oregon Dies. Millsboro, Or., Jan. 1.— After the light of 119 New Years had dawned happily for her.
