Oldest W om an in Oregon Dies.
Millsboro, Or., Jan. 1.— After
the light of 119 New Years had
dawned happily for her. Mrs. Mary
Ramsley W ood expired this morn
ing, shortly before the daylight of

came. She was the oldest white
woman in Oregon, and probably in
the United States. She has been
in failing health some time, at the
home of her daugter here.
Mrs. Wood was a native of Ten
nessee and later lived in Missouri,

only 10 stories will appear above

ments.
