SPRINGWATER NEWS Mr. and Mrs. A Lacey attended Pomo na Grange at Park Place Wednesday. George Guttridge returned home from Colorado last week. Waivo Lewellen has returned home from visiting her brother and sister at Moro. Mr. and Mrs. Kiggins and son, and Mr and Mrs. Winkle and family, all, recently from Colorado, arrived here Sunday and are visiting Mr and Mrs. Kiggins and ex pect to locate here. Kd Closner, S. H. Raney, E. A. Miller, and Miss Mulkey were in Portland Satur day and purchased an organ for the schcol The organ arrived Tuesday and the pu pils are all very much pleased with it. Arbor day exercises will be held at the Springwater .School Eriday. Print Hall and Karl Shibley are doing carpenter work in Estacada this week. At Sunday School hist Sunday, the fol- teachers for the coming year: Class i,Mr. Moger, class No. 2, A. M. Shibley, class No 3, Mrs. Lewellen, class No 4, Miss Mulkey, class No 5, Duma Shibley, class No 6, Mrs. Miller. Whitling Rufus. They are about thee miles east of Boring. Deputy sheriff T rein bath was in Boring last Monday. Surveyor Rands of Oregon City is do ing some work for Roots. Through car 114 burned out her dyna mo last Thursday while taking a train up over the hill. Meyers BORING NEWS Horace Knox and family left last Fri day for Clackamas, they will be gone about two weeks. Andrew Vetsch and Miss Gantenbien were married a week Saturday. They went on a tour of California for their honeymoon. They are expected home the latter part of this week. The Boring boys are patiently waiting for their re turn, when, they say there will be mu sic in the air. Janies Murphey of the Summit plant, is working at the East side plant in Port land.
