They say that 47 rattlers, mostly ;ood si.ei ones, have heen killed in a den discovered on Jerry Pipes place recently. Tile kil ling occurred on several different days when the weather was warm and bright and the snakes came out of their den to take a sun hath. On Sun day last, fourteen wjre killed. I'p to the time this den was lo cated and watched no one in the vi cinity had any le;Ja that there were y rattlesnakes to speak of in the neiithtiurhood and the lare nuniher killed to date has occasioned much surpr.se.
