Coke, of Portland, by an estimated majority of 2250 over United States Senator Charles W. Fulton, and on the Dem ocratic ticket of Governor Chamber lain, whose nomination was uncon tested. Both uccessfwl candidates are adherents of Statement No. 1. In the first congressional district Con gressman Hawley was re-nomlnated without contest. In the second dis trict Congressman Ellis wins from T. T. Goer and George H. Shepherd by about 2500 plurality, Goer and Shep herd running neck and neck and A. J. Jeffrey and A. J. Derby were Dem ocratic contestants for this office. Fig ures on thalr race are unobtainable, but 'It Is stated the race was very close. The Statement No. 1. candidates have swept Multnomah county, there being only one or two candidates nominated who did not subscribe to It.
