The game was fast and clean, but the Dallas team easily surpassed its opponents in speed and team work, while its goal throwing was almost faultless. Individually, the members of the Dallas five showed themselves to be better skaters, and more at home on the rollers than the members of the Newberg team. Higgins, the Newberg center, played the star game for his team, scoring 6 out of the 13 points. Elder, of Dallas, threw 6 baskets from the field and two from the foul line, Brown and Simon ton threw four each, and Magers one. The line-up was the same in Satur day nignt's game as in the game played in Dallas, January 24, with the exception that Phelps played guard for the Dallas team until the latter part of the second half, when he was replaced by Magers.
