The Xcaber plant has been greatly improved, the pa per enlarged and changed from a weekly to a semi-weekly and the circulation of the paper has nearly doubled in the past year. For all of this w e are duly thankful, but antici-* pate that the new year will bring about greater improve ments in the paper and plant, in the progress and develop ment of Cottage Grove and vicinity, and renewed activity in our varied industries.
