Holmes of Island i City, and the two made ait automobile moved with his parents lo Missouri in the spring of 1842, from thereto Iowa la 184U. He resided there 19 years and then moved with his parents to Fnioii county, Ore., in 18(15, and resided there until 1907, when be came to Wallowa o unity and lived until his death April 23, 1908.
