La Grande Star: Cashier W. It,
Holmes of the First National Bank of
Enterprise, is visiting in ( Grande
Ronde. On Sunday he was a guest of
his brother, F. J. Holmes of Island i
City, and the two made ait automobile
moved with his parents lo Missouri in
the spring of 1842, from thereto Iowa
la 184U. He resided there 19 years and
then moved with his parents to Fnioii
county, Ore., in 18(15, and resided there
until 1907, when be came to Wallowa
