Arthur, tho acting President of the United States, so much in opposition to the well known views of the Republican ad ministration of the late lamented President Garliold. UesuhcJ, That th Republican party ha3 over shown itself to be tho friend and protector of tho industrial inter ests of tho nstion, and the trusty ad vocate of tho working class. And, Resolved, Th.it the said veto meets with our unqualified disapproval, bo ing in direct opposition to the policy of thoRepuWievn party on this coast, and wo denounco it as unwise, and condemn the policy which prompted it.
