He is a Navy veteran of the submarine service, and a graduate of San Diego State. He went on to become a Special Agent with the Naval Investigative Service (now NCIS), retiring after 26 years. Dick has been an active volunteer in Florence. Over the years he has worked with the Humane Society, Oregon State Police, the Step Group, and is currently involved with the Habitat For Humanity Restore, the hospital, Heceta Water District, and as a Board member for Western Lane Ambulance. In 1972 I transferred to the Florence Patrol office and worked in Florence until my retirement in 1998 after 28 plus years. I have two daughters and my other daughter works in Springfield, Oregon. After my retirement I continued to work part time for some local business in the Florence Area. I was elected to the Western Lane Ambulance District Board of Directors in 2007 and reelected to the Board of Directors in 2011. F LOWERS BY B OBBI Mike Webb Board of Directors After growing up in Corvallis and completing my formal education at Oregon State University, I moved to Florence to take the opportunity to manage the local Sprouse Reitz store. It was in Florence that I met my wife Jana. We have two wonderful children, two grandchildren, two dogs, many cats and a bird. Currently I work as a Commercial Relationship Manager with Oregon Pacific Bank. I’ve been with the bank since 1998. I am also an active Kiwanian, joining the Florence club in 1998. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, running, golf and bowling. I began working with Western Lane Ambulance District several years ago, first serving as a budget committee member. For the last eleven years I have served on the board of directors for the district. I also fill a seat for the District on the Florence Urban Renewal Committee. Since moving here, I have had the opportunity to witness tremendous growth in the Florence area. I continue to look forward to see what the future holds for our community. He was a volunteer firefighter for 28 years, beginning in late 1977 and finally stepping aside in 2005. Sneddon was first elected to the WLAD board in 1996 and served as Board President for five years. Since 2001 he has been the News Director for Coast Broadcasting (KCST and KCFM) and has been the host of KCST’s Our Town (formerly known as The Community Forum) since 1998. Married with 3 children, 11 grand children. I like to work with wood and tole paint. Spend time with family and friends at sporting events, watching my grandchildren. It is such a blessing to be serving in this community. Happily married for 21 years with two beautiful daughter’s ages 12 and 15. In my spare time, aside form enjoying my family, I am the lead lab instructor for LCC’s Paramedic Program, and have been for 15 years. I also enjoy, being actively involved with South Willamette Valley Honor Flight, enjoying the outdoors, and playing golf when my wife lets me. Married to an awesome lady Kim. We have 2 children and 5 grand kids. Enjoy spending time with my family & friends. Spend a lot of time in the outdoors. I have just retired and enjoy the little time I get to spend with my family and look forward to long vacations and play time with them. I am married and have 9 children and 18 grandchildren. I also volunteer as a Battalion Chief with Siuslaw Valley Fire & Rescue. I ride a Harley firefighter special edition, ATV’s and work with heavy equipment at home.
