A legal trial is in progress and on its results the American people rely for a correct version of the affair. Probably however, legal technicalities will so obscure the facts and conclusions that nothing definite on convincing will be put uponrecord. The latest scheme in trusts is a book trust, planned by English capitalists, who are negotiating t purchase all of the publishing houses who issu cheap editions of the pirated foreign authorship pub lished books in this country.
