Ho was born in Fleming county, Kentucky, January 18, 1833. He moved frjm there to Missouri in 1848, living there until 1851 when he came to Oregon with hid parents, and located in Benton county, where the. town of Philo math now stands, on his donation claim. He was married to Miss Martha Jane Brown November 12. 1854.
