At 1 o'clock Sunday niorning Gilbert Harris, of Boston Ravine, gave hia wife a severe whipping and struck her on the forehead with a lamp, making a dangerous wound. The woman's cries aroused the people of the Ravine and a party of young men assem bled ana dragged Harris into Wolf Creek, ducked him in a watering trough and whipped him soundly.
