St. Locis, Feb. 12. Governor Hamphrev, of Kansas, has select ed St. Louis as the place and March 12 as the time for holding an inter-state convention to investi gate the alleged pork and beef combine. The convention will re composed of a joint committee oi senators and five representatives from the legislatures of Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota. Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Ntw Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming. Several of the states have already been heard from favorably, and there is little doubt but that all ol them will be represented.
