An American company has recently secured irom the Brazil liar government an immense trait of country bordering on the Amazon river in the Andes moun tain regions. The object is to open up gold and diamond mining regions. The desire to accumulate wealth rapidly, leads many people into investing in very questionable enterprises, as well as engaging in what purports to be legitimate enterprises with the prospects of fabulous gains without sulliciently investigating the stabi ity and truthfulness of the concerns.
