Hj Makes a Bold Break for Liberty but Is Captured After a long Chase, The tramp, Charles Harris, who is confined in the county jail for dis locating Win. John Heinz, a fanner living lour miles north of Silverton, yesterday morning got up ear'.y and went out to the gran ary and taking a revolver placed it to his head and fired. The bullet llattoned out against the skuil, but Heinz shot again and the ball went crashing into the brain. Heinz' wife followed him, and saw him fire the la.-t shut. She summoned help and the coroner was sent for and an inquest he!d. Heinz was a well-to-do farmer, aged about ."50 and wgs an ex-soldier.
