A republican convention for the state of Orcjou is culled to meet ;;t the city of Portlnnd, Oregon, on Wednesday, the 11th dav of Apri!. -V. D. .1888, at 31 o'clock A. M., for the purpose of nominating can tiidntea for the following officer, to-wit. Representative in congress, three presidential electors, supreme judse and district officers, and to select six delegates to attend the national republican convention, ami to transact suh other business as mav properly come before the convention.
