e s t u i li* C itij g w a l l A Valuable Work- Sensational Murder. Thursday, in a vacant lot in East Portland, under a pile ot brush, the remain« of Clara Fitch were found. They were not identified at once, but were taken to tbe morgue, where soon after they were discov ered to be the remains of Miss Fitch. Dark, purplish marks were found under her chin surrounding her neck, and death, from a cursory ex amination, was pronounced to be the result of strangulation.
