Spouse of a Grand Willamina High hosting TrackTown event on May 4 WILLAMINA – Willamina High School will host a TrackTown Youth League event beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 4. The event is part of a series of 15 free all-comer track meets being held across Oregon and is open to all boys and girls between 7 and 14 years of age. Events will include 100-, 400- and 1,500-meter races, and long jump and turbo javelin competitions. Previous track and field experience is not necessary to participate. Top finishers will advance to a championship meet being held at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field that will be held in conjunction with the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
