The group, which included representatives from Grand Ronde Tribal Police, the Grand Ronde Health & Wellness Center, Advanced Security, Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Yamhill County and the Oregon Office of Emergency Management, Oregon State Police, Willamette Valley Medical Center, Salem Health, American Red Cross and Tribal employees, was given a workplace active shooter scenario and then they discussed current security plans that are in place and how well they would work in such a situation. Help wanted The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde’s 477 Employment and Training Program and Land and Culture Department have resourc- es that can be utilized along with community members who have a passion for gardening or want to learn the art of agriculture.
