Mom never wanted us to have a sad celebration for her, so by her request and the grace of God we will have a day of celebration. The activities that follow are all Mom’s request and we always had to include them at every family potluck event we had in the past. 11 a.m.: Easter egg hunt Noon: Cake walk 1 p.m.: Potluck (we are supplying ham, turkey, barbecue ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, scalloped potatoes, baked beans) 2 p.m.: We will have music (bagpipe included), memory stories and pictures, and more cake walking with lots of laughter and fun by just being together. The event will be held at the Dora Community Center (as always) and we have it scheduled until 10 p.m. Bring your favorite story, pic- tures, song, etc., and anything that you’d like to share about Margie. We have limited space for sleeping arrangements as the Osborns have allowed us the use of their cabin for the weekend. Please call Roberta at 541-572-3845 or Cindy at 541-474-7800 for more information or input. We would love to see you all as this may be the last community potluck we Knowltons may give for a long time to come.
